Commercializing a novel technology frequently requires an established distribution network and long-term capital resources. Sometimes the best option for an emerging technology companies is to negotiate an license or acquisition by a larger enterprise. Alternatively, two companies may collaborate, in a joint-venture, to develop a stronger market offering of a commercial technology solutions.
